About Mission Group – the people behind BuyDISC

BuyDISC is run by Mission Group, a UK leadership and team-development consultancy. We supply official Five Behaviours profiles, set up and administer the assessments for you, and – when it helps – facilitate the conversations that turn a team’s results into action.

Who we are

Mission Group is the trading name of Mission International Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales in 2011. We work with leaders and teams in corporate, public-sector and not-for-profit organisations, in the UK and internationally, through coaching, facilitated workshops and leadership development programmes.

These Five Behaviours pages are our dedicated storefront for The Five Behaviours. They let UK buyers choose the right profile, pay online and hand the administration to people who know the product well. The rest of BuyDISC.co.uk does the same for Everything DiSC® profiles.

We help in three practical ways: working out which profile suits the people taking part, running the assessment process so it doesn’t land on your desk, and helping teams use their results well – whether your own leader runs the conversation or one of our facilitators does.

Buying from us means buying official Five Behaviours profiles, with UK prices shown including VAT and a real team on the other end of the phone or email.

Five Behaviours experience since its launch in 2014

We have worked with The Five Behaviors® since its launch in 2014 and were among the first to beta-test the programme in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Over the past 12 years we have delivered Five Behaviours sessions for organisations around the world, alongside our wider leadership and team-development work.

That experience shapes the advice we give: which profile fits which group, what a team needs in place before it takes the assessment, and how to read the results so they start useful conversations about trust, conflict, commitment, accountability and results – rather than becoming labels.

The model itself comes from Patrick Lencioni’s book The Five Dysfunctions of a Team. If you know the book, see how it connects to the profiles we supply.

What changes for teams

A profile doesn’t change a team on its own. The change comes from what the team does with its results. The work usually looks like this:

  • Clearer conversations. People talk openly about how they work, what they need from each other and where they have been holding back.
  • More constructive disagreement. The team practises debating ideas directly and respectfully, instead of avoiding difficult topics in the room and revisiting them afterwards.
  • Shared decisions. Discussions end with clear decisions that everyone understands and is prepared to support, even where they argued for something else.
  • Accountability. Team members agree the standards they expect of each other and raise it early when those standards slip.
  • Follow-through. Agreed actions have owners and dates, and the team checks progress against its collective goals rather than individual agendas.

How far a team moves depends on the effort it puts in after the assessment. The profiles give that effort a shared language and a clear starting point.
