What does the Team Development profile give your team?
A structured way to talk about how the team really works, and what would make it work better – built on the model from Patrick Lencioni's The Five Dysfunctions of a Team.
A shared model
Every member sees the same five-behaviour framework – Trust, Conflict, Commitment, Accountability and Results – as the foundation for discussion.
Personalised insight
Each participant learns their own DiSC® style and sees the styles of others in the team, so they can understand how different approaches show up.
A team-level picture
Everyone's answers combine into the team's results for each behaviour, so the team can see patterns, not just individual scores.
Somewhere to start
Discussion and action-planning content in the report gives the team a concrete next step, with or without a facilitator.
Sample report pages – illustrative results
These three pages come from the public Team Development sample report, which uses Wiley’s fictional sample team. The scores are that sample team’s – your team’s report follows the same structure with your own results.
Who is Team Development for?
Choose Team Development if…
The Team Development profile is designed for an intact team that works together and shares responsibility for results. That might be a leadership team, a management team, or any other established team with shared goals that wants a shared picture of how it operates as a unit.
Our minimum order is 3 profiles, at £135 + VAT (£162.00 inc VAT) per person. Wiley recommends Team Development for small to medium-sized teams of around 5–12 people who have worked together for at least six weeks.
Choose Personal Development instead if…
Your participants don't all belong to the same intact team, you're buying for just one or two people, or you want transferable teamwork insight for individuals rather than a single team-level picture. The Personal Development profile is £99 + VAT (£118.80 inc VAT) per person, minimum 1.

What's in the Team Development report?
Each participant's report is personalised to them and to the team as a whole.
Individual insight
- The participant's own DiSC® style, and how it can affect the way they approach each behaviour
- The DiSC styles of the other team members taking part
Team-level insight
- The team's results for Trust, Conflict, Commitment, Accountability and Results, built from everyone's answers
- A team map showing where each member's style sits
- Discussion and action-planning content to work through together
Turn results into a real conversation
Team Development works because it gives an intact team a shared, practical view of Trust, Conflict, Commitment, Accountability and Results – something to look at and talk about together, not just individual scores to file away.

Who sees the reports?
Team Development reports are sent together in one bundle once every member of the team has completed their assessment, so the whole team starts from the same picture. If you have particular requirements about who receives the reports – for example for a sensitive leadership-team project – email us before you register your team and we'll agree the arrangements with you before any invitations are sent.
Want help turning the report into a conversation?
Profiles never require facilitation – plenty of teams work through their reports on their own. If you'd rather have an experienced practitioner lead the session, virtual and in-person facilitation is available separately, from a short preparation session through to a full-day team workshop.

How much does the Team Development profile cost, including VAT?
The Five Behaviours Team Development profile is £135 + VAT per person, which is £162.00 inc VAT per person, with a minimum order of 3 profiles. The smallest order of 3 profiles is therefore £405 + VAT (£486.00 inc VAT). You choose your quantity at checkout and see the total before you pay. Mission-managed administration is included, with no separate admin fee. If you're ordering for several teams or in larger numbers, email us and we'll talk through the set-up with you.
Is there a minimum order, and how big should the team be?
Our minimum order for Team Development is 3 profiles, one for each participant. That’s our ordering minimum, not a recommendation: Wiley designs Team Development for small to medium-sized intact teams of around 5–12 people who have worked together for at least six weeks. If you only need one or two profiles, or your people aren’t one team, the Personal Development profile has a minimum of one.
What's included in a Team Development order?
Every order includes one official Team Development assessment and a personalised report for each participant, team-level results built from everyone’s answers, Mission-managed invitations and completion monitoring, the team’s reports sent together in one bundle once everyone has completed, and email and telephone support throughout. Facilitation is not included and is available separately.
How quickly is my order set up?
After you pay, we email you a link to register your team: a team name plus each participant’s name and email address. You can come back to the same link to add anyone you’re still waiting on. Once we have your complete team details, we set up the assessment invitations. How soon the reports arrive depends on when the last person in your team completes.
How long does the assessment take to complete?
It’s a short online questionnaire – most participants complete it in around 15–20 minutes, in one sitting, with no need to prepare beforehand.
Can I buy Team Development profiles without facilitation?
Yes. Profiles are sold on their own – you're never required to add a facilitated session. You can add facilitation later, or not at all.
How are invitations sent, and when do the reports arrive?
We send assessment invitations and monitor completion. Once everyone in your team has completed their assessment, we send the reports together in one bundle. If you have particular requirements about who receives the reports – for example for a sensitive leadership-team project – email us before you register your team so we can agree the arrangements with you.
Does Team Development use DiSC®?
Yes. Team Development is powered by Everything DiSC®. Each participant learns their own DiSC style and sees the styles of others in the team, which helps explain how different people approach trust, conflict and the other behaviours. Personal Development works differently: its feedback is personalised using DiSC in the background, but it doesn’t name a DiSC style or teach the DiSC model.
Are Comparison and Progress Reports available?
A Comparison Report looks at two people who both hold a Five Behaviours profile and shows their similarities and differences, to help them work together. A Progress Report is for Team Development teams: the team takes the assessment again later to see how its behaviours have changed. Ask us if either would be useful and we’ll explain what’s involved for your team.
Team or Personal Development – which do I need?
Team Development is for an intact team that works together and wants a shared team-level view (£135 + VAT per person, minimum 3). Personal Development suits individuals, or people who aren't all part of the same team (£99 + VAT per person, minimum 1). See Team vs Personal Development for a full comparison.
Is The Five Behaviours a team effectiveness assessment?
Yes – that's what Team Development measures. The online assessment asks every member of the team how the team performs against the five behaviours of an effective, cohesive team: Trust, Conflict, Commitment, Accountability and Results. The results come back at two levels: a team-level picture built from everyone's answers, showing where the team is strong and where it gets stuck, and a personalised report for each participant covering their own tendencies across the same five behaviours and their DiSC® style. It measures how the team works, not individual performance or capability, so it isn't an appraisal or a selection tool.
Is this the same as the Five Dysfunctions Team Assessment?
Not exactly. The Five Behaviours applies the Trust, Conflict, Commitment, Accountability and Results model from Patrick Lencioni's The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, combined with personalised DiSC-based insight. The Table Group markets its own separate Five Dysfunctions Team Assessment – the two are related but not the same product. Read how the Five Dysfunctions team assessment and The Five Behaviours compare.
Is this the official Five Behaviours Team Development profile?
Yes. It's the official Five Behaviours Team Development assessment and report, sold and administered in the UK by Mission Group. Mission Group is an Authorised Partner for The Five Behaviors®. In UK writing you'll often see it called the Five Behaviours team assessment – it's the same product.
